Windward Wonders…Where Do You Want to Travel?

By Published On: November 5, 2025

Welcome to Windward Wonders…?, the section where we spotlight Windward students with a question of the week about entertaining topics ranging from movies to sports teams.

Responses have been edited for length and clarity.

Ruthie Faxon ’26: I would love to travel to Greece because I’ve never been and the Greeks invented western drama, which is something I’m really interested in.

Yarezti Hernandez Matias ’27: Maybe Japan. They have really good food. I just want to go explore the culture there.

Charles Stodel ’28: I would really want to travel to South America, and probably to the mountains – like the Chilean mountains. I’ve seen a lot of images and videos of people who have gone there and it just seems really cool to go and experience some of the culture.

Ariel Adelson ’29: I really want to travel to Italy because I’ve heard it’s really pretty there and they have really good food. I want to sail on one of the little gondolas in the Venice Canal.
